Hi, I’m Lexy! I work in architecture and have a passion for plants. It all started when I bought a few plants to decorate my home with, and once I learned that both my thumbs are green, it became an obsession. Today I am a proud plant mom of 70 thriving plant babies and counting. I can’t wait to help you reach your plant goals!

I started Plant Nanny Chicago because I’ve had a few friends and family ask for my advice when it comes to plants. My mom even suggested I come plant-sit for her when she goes on trips. That’s what got the wheels turning. As a planner and forward thinker, I am concerned with how many plants might drop in priority once people with day jobs go back to the office and everyone’s lives get busier.
